Who will be the 2018 champion? Watch LIVE on FloVoice beginning at 7 PM EDT to find out!

The Workshop

A mixed group out of NYC, The Workshop sings a mix of top 40 pop, indie, hip-hop, and soul and has graced stages in the city, at SingStrong, and on YouTube since forming in 2012.

CONNECT

The 2015 DC Aca-Idol champions, 2016 NY Aca-Idol champions, and 2017 NY Harmony Sweepstakes champions certainly have competitions down to a science. Formed by alumni of Central Connecticut State University, this mixed group out of Hartford, CT, is known for creative competition set themes. Will this year’s theme get them a new title?

Word of Mouth

This D.C.-based mixed group formed in 2011 and won the first-ever Aca-Challenge in 2014. Filled with former collegiate a cappella superstars, Word of Mouth prides itself on intricate arrangements, passionate performances, and stellar soloists.

The BluesTones

This fierce group of ladies from James Madison University has nearly 20 years of tradition, numerous tours, and award-winning studio recordings. Known for powerful performances and unique arrangements, this group showcases everything from music majors to pre-med students, all with serious talent.

The GW Vibes

A recent ICCA semifinalist and the campus winner of The Battle of the A Cappellas, the Vibes do everything from '60s R&B to current indie rock. They also won the Audience Favorite award at the first Aca-Challenge and are a previous third-place finisher. Will this be the year the Vibes take home the victory?

DaCADENCE

This UMD group has competed in ICCA since 2013 and nabbed a third-place finish at its quarterfinal in 2017. DaCADENCE released a full album in 2016 and recently debuted a new single, both of which received critical acclaim.

The Aca-Challenge will be hosted by none other than Deke Sharon, widely known as the godfather of a cappella, and produced by champion barbershop chorus The Alexandria Harmonizers
