Late Nights. Great Music.

We hope you’ve caught up on your sleep, because it’s almost time for Charlotte! Sure, the competitors are going to be incredible, but the party doesn’t end when the lights on the contest stage go down. The Barbershop Harmony Society has set up FOUR incredible evening shows to go with your night cap.

Tuesday

Just how do you celebrate the first international convention since 2019? With an opening night party, of course. A nice big mix of choruses and quartets, fresh and familiar faces, as well as a sneak peek at groups competing or performing later in the week. What better way to socialize with all of those long-lost barber-fam friends than in the company of more great barbershop? The party starts at 9 pm.

Wednesday

Ok. You may need to brace yourself for this one. Wednesday night’s evening show is…

Not barbershop!

But it will be a fun and fantastic palate cleanser with the Bourbon Street Jazz Band kicking off the afterglow at 10 pm. Plus, why not get excited about Harmony University in New Orleans later this summer? (Yes, we see what you did there!)

Thursday

Let’s face it, by Thursday night, you’ll be in that glow-y state of excited and exhaustion. 3+ days of excitement behind you, the list of quartet finalist in front of you, and the chorus contest getting underway with Friday’s sunrise. But don’t let that stop you from enjoying the Late Night Showcase with Brouhaha, GQ, and Instant Classic! Remember this fun?

Friday

You’re almost there! One more chorus session and the quartet finals are in sight! But not before a packed evening with PDX Voices, Soundtrack, Fleet Street, Secret Best Friends, Yonge Guns & Ripple Effect, and St. Croix Crossing. What a lineup!

And, on Saturday you might think you’re on your own, but not so fast! BHS will close out the celebration with the Chorditorium hosted by Society President, John Donehower. It’s always a surprise and never a disappointment to see just who might make an appearance!

You still have a few more days to sleep, so get ready for Charlotte – the stream kicks off on FloVoice on July 5th at 10 am Eastern!
