#BHSSLC Quartets To Watch

The Quartet Contest at the annual BHS International Convention is a highlight for everyone in the barbershop community. Almost as much fun as watching the contest is crunching numbers and polling your friends on who may take the gold this year.

The list of strong quartets this year is deep, with Sunshine District sending the top three qualifiers. Here are the top five quartets going into contest this year in Salt Lake City:

Signature (SUN)
Qualifying Score: 91.8
Previous Internationals: 2018 - 2nd Place (93.8)

A longtime favorite, this quartet brings their brand of "barbersoul" to the stage. They enter the competition with a new member, Paul Saca. Will the lineup change propel them to the top?

Throwback (SUN)
Qualifying Score: 90.7
Previous Internationals:2018 - 3rd Place (91.2)

The Rubin brothers are back together for the latest incarnation of Throwback.

Rooftop Records (SUN)
Qualifying Score: 89.8
Previous Internationals: 2018 - 10th Place (86.3)

Perhaps the most improved in the top 5 this year - will they continue on their upward trend?

Quorum (JAD)
Qualifying Score: 89.7
Previous Internationals: 2018 - 4th Place (90.2)

Pride of the Johnny Appleseed and some incredible posting talent all around. Can they move in on the SUN sweep?

Category 4 (DIX)
Qualifying Score: 89.0
Previous Internationals: 2018 - 7th Place (88.4)

Full of humor and four barbershop veterans (they're all judges!), this quartet is poised to break into the top five this year.
