The future of a cappella is off to camp with Camp A Cappella and A Cappella Academy underway, but we were still treated to some pretty incredible new music this week from some of the best in the business. 

Here are your #FloFaves:

The SoCal VoCals

In case you’d caught your breath after their incredible winning set at ICCA Finals, The SoCal VoCals dropped an EP “V” with your favorite songs from their performances this year. They also included a music video for “Finesse” and all we can say is: pre-dial the paramedics.

Charlie Arthur

Looking for a little more fire? Charlie Arthur teamed up with recent SoCal VoCal alum Jej Millanes to adapt Jej’s original song “Lovesick” for a cappella.

Main Street

The full album isn’t available until Sunday, but the 2017 International Quartet champions gave us a little taste with this Animoji video of their classic, “Smile.” Just when you thought you couldn’t be any more excited about International . . .

Backtrack

It’s been a big week for these 2017 AcaOpen finalists. They announced the retirement of their founder Andrew John Kim, the addition of Jojo Otseidu, and celebrated a great week with Camp A Cappella. They also treated us to their first video of 2018, “Beethoven Medley.” 

Scott & Ryceejo

Check out the latest project from this husband-and-wife duo out of Utah. Track 2 from “Disney Mashups, Vol. 1” features a little bit of Frozen and a little bit of Tangled for a real-life fairytale rendition of “For the First Time in Forever” and “When Will My Life Begin” 

Maytree 메이트리

The Korean a cappella giant released a  quick cover of AKMU’s Dinosaur. Clean harmonies and incredibly dulcet soprano tones will leave you wanting more — even if you don’t understand Korean!
