Rockapella Shares A Day With Toronto Students
Rockapella started off in the classroom today, introducing a new generation to the history and wonders of a cappella music.
As day three of the SING! Toronto Vocal Arts Festival got underway, the members of Rockapella got an early start at Little Trinity Church with a couple hundred of their newest fans. Students piled into to workshops with the legendary vocal group to learn about a variety of topics.
After separate classes with the rhythm section and the tenor voices, the whole group came together for a last session with the full group to ask more questions. And of course, get treated to a little bit of singing ahead of tonight's Sing! Rock Concert with Rockapella and The House Jacks.
One of the highlights was an impromptu acoustic performance of "Up On The Roof."
Rockapella takes the stage tonight at 8 PM at the Jane Malley Theatre at the St. Lawrence Centre in Toronto. SING! Toronto continues through Sunday, June 3.
