The founders of Pentatonix are out to create the next big thing—and it's coming from the smallest among us.
The founders of Pentatonix are out to create the next big thing—and it's coming from the smallest among us. This week, Scott Hoying, Ben Bram, Shams Ahmed, and Jonathan Kalter announced a new project that will feature the talent of singers and beatboxers ages 6-14.
Bram, in addition to founding and arranging for the multi-Grammy award-winning group Pentatonix, is also the founder and camp director of A Cappella Academy.
A cappella experience is not necessary, but the ability to harmonize is required. Those selected will be included in recordings and music videos.
Audition videos need not be fancy or professionally done. A simple computer or phone video will suffice but should include clear audio without distortion or editing. All singing must be done completely a cappella without any accompaniment or backing tracks. Additional produced recordings may be submitting to support your application.
If you are a talented youth or know one, submit by June 11 to be a part of this incredible opportunity. Any and all voice parts are welcome.
