New Release Roundup: Pop Paradise

We’re going back over the biggest releases from the past two weeks, so there's lots of new music for your happy ears! Here are the #FloFaves this Friday the 13th:

Pentatonix

After weeks of sneak peeks and single drops, the full album "PTX PRESENTS: TOP POP, VOL. I" is finally here! Along with it, the group dropped a new video for their cover of Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect,” featuring Scott Hoying on lead and Kevin Olusola bringing out his cello.

Duwende

Known best for its Michael Jackson covers, Duwende does Stevie Wonder proud with this cover of “Do I Do.”

Birdland Avenue

You may know Kayla Jo Pichichero and Evan Linsey as the voices behind the head/voice podcast, but when they create music with Birdland Avenue, the result is pure magic. Enjoy their latest original, “Breeze, Baby.”

NOTA

The season one winners of "The Sing-Off" are coming out with a new album soon and treated fans to a video of one of the singles, “For The Lost,” which features all the Latin and jazzy sounds that made you fall in love with them the first time.

Rockapella

In honor of its tour to Japan, Rockapella put out a bilingual cover of "東京は夜の七時" ("7 PM in Tokyo"). It features some sweet bass Japanese from Bryant Vance and a cameo by Scott Leonard’s puppy. In other words, it’s perfect.

Vox Pop

The Washington DC-area Contemporary A Cappella League Group released its latest album, “Very Good,” featuring eight tracks with a distinctly '80s flavor.

Not Too Sharp

The all-male group from UNH released a sweet cover of Kelly Clarkson’s “I Don’t Think About You” with a great performance by soloist Jeremiah Friedman.
