The Sons of Pitches have hit the scene in a big way since winning BBC2's "The Naked Choir" back in 2015.

Now, two years after its epic debut, the British vocal group is returning to TV this fall -- only this time not as competitors.

Coming off the release of their new album, "Don't Fret," The Sons of Pitches have been chosen as the "house band" for the upcoming Sky 1 show "Sing: Ultimate A Cappella," which debuts in September.

"What makes 'Sing: Ultimate A Cappella' very unique is that it is the first UK show to be purely a cappella," The Sons of Pitches told FloVoice. "Every single sound you hear on the show will be made with the human voice!"

Hosted by British TV presenter Cat Deeley, the show features three rounds across seven episodes, including a round of medleys, a round of covers, and a showdown between the two finalist groups.

"I couldn't be more excited about 'Sing It'... I remember singing in choir, when I was a kid and loving every minute!" Deeley said in a Sky press release. "We have the very best performers on the show -- they have no backing tracks and no instruments, just their own incredible voices and talent!

The British a cappella scene is so exciting and I'm thrilled to be able to be a part of it.
The winners will get the opportunity to record an album at the famous Abbey Road Studios and release a single by the holidays later this year.

"As house band we will be singing in and out of the breaks and will basically make noise in any other moments of would-be silence!" The Sons of Pitches said. "We also open and close the show every night. Lastly, we'll be part of some special guest collaborations."

Who might they be collaborating with? Oh, just Gregory Porter and Midge Ure to name a couple!
