The Apex Project Unveils New Track From Debut Album
The Apex Project has a new album out and gave FloVoice an advanced exclusive track.
The Apex Project from Singapore has a new album coming out and gave FloVoice an exclusive track to release before it drops.
The award-winning band will release its debut EP, "ADAM," on Saturday, July 15, on Bandcamp, iTunes, Spotify.
Featuring four original songs, "ADAM" was helmed with the help of Grammy Award-winning producers Ed Boyer, Ben Bram and Bill Hare along with local producers Feng Lee and Cheeyang Ng.
Last seen leading the Singapore national anthem at Pink Dot 2017, The Apex Project has been coined "the rising stars of Singapore a cappella" by Taiwan's Vocalbox and praised for "tight vocal melodies" by Mashable Asia. Led by the first winner of the Singaporean reality TV show "Campus SuperStar," Cheeyang Ng, and featuring local musicians such as Jean Goh Sijia, champion of Starhub's "Hear Me Sing," the group performs a pop and jazz repertoire with a theatrical twist. The Apex Project will be competing against international groups this summer in Shanghai and Hong Kong.
On top of the EP, The Apex Project is working on a trans-media project combining music, film, and theatre. The EP launch, ADAM / LIVE, will take place at the Esplanade's Annexe Studio on August 27 at 7 PM. The group's short film "ADAM," which sets up the premise of the live experience, is also selected for GV25's Short Film Competition and will be screened at Golden Village theaters.
ADAM is now available for pre-order on iTunes and Bandcamp.
