The Doo Wop Project is Back!
The Doo Wop Project is heading back to the site of its debut performance for a show on Friday night at the Chautauqua Institution.

The a cappella group first sang at the Chautauqua, NY, amphitheater in 2015 and is returning for "a ribbon-cutting ceremony, explorer lectures, and an Independence Day Pops concert."

With a strong Broadway background, the Doo Wop Project's five members regularly rotate in and out between projects such as "Motown: The Musical," "Jersey Boys" and other Broadway hits. In 2015, the group released its self-titled debut album.

This a cappella group from NYC begins at the beginning, tracing the evolution of doo wop from the classic sound of five guys singing tight harmonies on a street corner to the biggest hits on the radio today.

You can find tickets to Friday's show HERE. The Doo Wop Project takes the stage at 8:15 PM.
