The Vintage Trio from Yearround Sound is bringing the "Golden Age of Hollywood" to Denver.

The Vintage Trio is bringing the sounds of the "Golden Age of Hollywood" back to Denver.
The mixed group is one of a few offerings from the company Yearround Sound, which is run by Sarah Lippa and Heather Lacy (the two ladies in these videos).
With its tight harmonies and engaging showmanship, Vintage specializes in jazz, standards, big band, swing, and harmony-era music -- 98 percent of the time performing with a band or backing track.
When asked how this group came together, Mr. Tim said:
Vintage gigs regularly in the Denver area and lists its musical influences as Frank Sinatra, Cole Porter, Doris Day, Otis Redding, Ella Fitzgerald, and Louis Armstrong, among others.

All of us met singing a cappella, so we thought it would be fun to have some a cappella tunes in our set. Plus, I have always loved arranging for three-voice a cappella (original lineup of moosebutter and Plumbers of Rome that won the 2010 Harmony Sweeps were both trios).
