Broadway's First A Cappella Musical Closes; Cast Album Out Soon
Broadway's first a cappella musical, "In Transit," closed on Sunday after 181 performances. The musical, directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall, premiered on Broadway on November 10, 2016, at the Circle in the Square Theatre. Its book, music, and lyrics were written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez, James-Allen Ford, Russ Kaplan, and Sara Wordsworth. This production is the first all-a cappella musical on Broadway, with arrangements by Deke Sharon and musical supervision by Rick Hip-Flores.

The show's essence can be best described by one of its own lines: "When something true gets set to music and put on stage, it becomes more true. And it's amazing to be a part of that!"

The cast album will be available digitally on April 28 and in stores June 9.
