Haunted Harmonies Wants To Teach You To Busk
At the Haunted Harmonies a cappella festival each year, vocal groups trade in the bright lights of the stage for the busy streets of Salem, Massachusetts.

The one-day competition, which returns on Saturday, October 7, encourages its participants to busk (street sing) for part of the day before the evening's professional showcase. As the groups perform for passersby, they are given mini-cauldrons to accept donations from the crowd.

Along with the "street singing" portion of the festival, the competitors have the opportunity to participate in a panel of a cappella and busking professionals, who will discuss their experience with street performing.
