It's the middle of July, and you what that means: time to hunt for caroling gigs! A number of companies are hosting auditions for caroling in the coming months in cities such as Boston, New York, and Los Angeles.

Clear Harmonies Opens Boston Branch

After successfully operating in Washington D.C. for over 10 years, Clear Harmonies is expanding its caroling program to Boston. Attracting top singers, Clear Harmonies provides holiday music programming for community events, private celebrations, and corporate holiday parties. But if it's not December, never fear: Clear Harmonies uses carolers all year long for various occasions.

Audition for Snowfall Before August 5th

Ben Bram (Pentatonix, A Cappella Academy) is auditioning sopranos, altos, tenors, basses, and VP/baritones for Snowfall's paying gigs in the LA area for the 2017 holiday season.

To audition, you must be at least 18 years old and have reliable transportation in Los Angeles. Snowfall rehearsals often happen mid-week, so you'll need a flexible schedule as well. Snowfall is looking for singers with great groove, time, and accuracy. To finalize your application, upload a video of you singing "Deck the Halls."

Mistletones Return To NYC

Songful Artists' Mistletones just finished their Boston auditions and will be heading to NYC in early September.

Songful Artists is looking for singers "who excel in harmonizing, blending, and collaboration," while adding that "proficiency in sight-reading (is) a plus." All holiday music is unaccompanied in four-part harmony, and they're auditioning for all voice parts and also beatboxers. Willingness to learn and memorize musical arrangements on your own is a must.
