Armenia's All-Female Rock Band: Decibelle
Armenia's all-female rock band was born from a TUMO project and features NVAK students.
Decibelle was born out of a student project at the TUMO Center for Creative Technologies in Yerevan, Armenia.
Originally initiated as a Tumo "girl band" project, Decibelle has evolved into an "all-female music production team working on songwriting, computer-based music arrangements, audio production as well as live performances."
Decibelle often performs with popular Armenian folk band "Element."
Decibelle members Lilit Hovakimian, Elen Petrosian, Chrtistina Simonian, and Anna Simonian are also students in the NVAK program.
