#Top10 A Cappella TV Themes
It's no shock that we are currently in another Golden Age of television.

The Muppets Sing Their Theme A Cappella

Here are the #Top10 (and a few honorable mentions) A Cappella Covers of TV Themes!

10. The Brown Derbies - "Gummi Bears"

From the 1997 album "Nightcap," this Brown Derbies classic is from the age of crowding around a few mics to capture the feel of your live show.

9. ScatterTones - "Power Rangers"

Another oldie, this ScatterTones performance is from 2006, way before the "Power Rangers" reboot movie.

We'd also be remiss not to mention the POW! Arrangers with their version of the theme.

8. Snowday - "Pokemon"

This whimsical video comes from Snowday, a group dedicated to bringing a cappella to mainstream education.  Tell your school "I want a Snowday!"

7. The Blanks - "Facts of Life" & "Flipper"

The Blanks were featured as Ted's band on NBC's "Scrubs" for nine seasons. The quartet, fronted by Sam Lloyd (who plays Ted), has seen continued success do to its on-screen appearances.

6. The Vocal Company - "Firefly"

The Vocal Company, the world's biggest a cappella production company honors this much-beloved and short-lived series.

We also must mention Choirfly, NYC's nerd-themed group, with their cover of "The Hero of Canton" from their group's namesake: "Firefly."

5. Random Notes - "The West Wing"

In late January, Random Notes got an immense amount of vocal talent to record this classic theme in a time of great unrest.

4. The Vocal Company - "Dr. Who"

The Vocal Company is back, paying tribute to "Dr. Who" on its 50th anniversary.

Also back is Choirfly,  with its cover of "Dr. Who's" "Vale Decem." We recommend prepping some tissues for that one.

Why don't they just collaborate already?

3. Jacob Collier - "The Flinstones"

Jacob's version of the "Flinstones" Theme won him a "Best Arrangement" Grammy.

2. Cluster - "Ducktales"

This wonderfully crunchy version of the "DuckTales" Theme comes 10 years before the show's reboot and is featured on Cluster's 2007 album "Cement."

1. Rockapella - "Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego?"

What list would be complete without Rockapella's anthemic theme? We realllllly hope that Sean Altman and David Yazbek's classic theme is used for the new Netflix reboot.

Some Honorable Mentions:

GrooveBarbers - "Full Frontal w/ Samantha Bee" LIVE on Samantha Bee

TriForce Films - "Rick and Morty"

The Warp Zone - "Stranger Things"

Trudbol - "Family Guy" Barbershop Style

TriForce Films - "The Simpsons"

Mike Tompkins & The Muppets

It's technically not a TV theme, but we love the Muppets!
