Pacific Edge Voices has been performing innovative a cappella arrangements of jazz and pop (as well as many other genres) for 36 years. The Grammy-nominated vocal ensemble is continuing its long-standing annual "Jazz & Pop" tradition with three upcoming concerts in the San Francisco Bay Area. Pacific Edge Voices will be performing at Crowden Music Center in Berkeley on June 3, the Green Room in San Francisco on June 8, and at the Berkeley City Club on June 11.

The three shows will feature some great arrangements of songs both well known and obscure, in groups ranging in size from two to 30 singers. This year's lineup includes "Kiss by Prince" by Tom Jones, "Who By Fire" by Leonard Cohen, The Swingle Singers version of "Concierto de Aranjuez", Dizzy Gillespie's "A Night in Tunisia," and a Kerry Marsh arrangement of "At Last."

Building on 35 years of dynamic choral singing in the Bay Area and around the world, Pacific Edge Voices is a premier Grammy-nominated vocal ensemble, best known for their extensive diverse repertoire of high-quality choral a cappella music as well as collaborations with high-profile and popular artists such as Dave Brubeck, Meredith Monk, and Bobby McFerrin.

We believe in the power of live choral music to inspire hope, joy, healing, and transformation within our members and every audience. The members of Pacific Edge Voices aspire to serve as musical ambassadors to expand appreciation of choral music and the arts and to engage singers and listeners of all ages and backgrounds through the connective power of live performance.
Under the music direction of Dr. Lynne Morrow, their love of singing in community and creating a shared experience with every audience drives their commitment to excellence in live and recorded performance.

Pacific Edge Voices attracts highly-trained singers with strong and diverse artistic backgrounds and experience. The semi-professional, auditioned chorus has toured in the US and internationally, performing in New York's Carnegie Hall, Germany, France, Cuba, and England.

On the eve of their 35th anniversary season in 2014, the Pacific Mozart Ensemble (PME) changed their name to Pacific Edge Voices to reflect the group's distinct and longstanding innovation -- performing multiple musical genres, collaborating on new works by diverse composers and performing artists, and presenting courageous and innovative vocal music programs.
