News broke last month of the official lineup of competitors that would be taking part in Varsity Vocals' newest & biggest a cappella tournament "The Open." This game-changing competition is the first time Varsity Vocals is lifting all age, size and matriculation restrictions.

Tickets for The Open Semifinals are already on sale.

Six semifinal events will be taking place all over the United States from July to August

• Northwest Semifinal at Rialto Theater July 8, 2017 - 7PM - Tacoma, WA
• New England Semifinal at Berklee Performance Center July 29, 2017 - 7 PM - Boston, MA 
• Southwest Semifinal at Palace Theatre July 29, 2017 - 7 PM - Los Angeles, CA
• Northeast Semifinal at Kaye Playhouse August 5, 2017 - 7 PM - New York, NY
• Mid-Atlantic Semifinal at The Clarice Smith Performing Arts Center August 5, 2017 - 7 PM - College Park, MD
• Midwest Semifinal at DeKalb High School Auditorium Aug 5, 2017 - 7 PM - DeKalb, IL

The winner of each semifinal will earn a spot in the Finals along with the 2017 ICHSA Champions "OSA's Vocal Rush" and the 2017 ICCA Champions "The Nor'easters".  
Finals will be held in September at Carnegie Hall.

This is the first time in Varsity Vocals history where high school, collegiate, semi-pro and amateur groups from around the world can compete in hopes of being crowned the best a cappella group in the world (and a $25,000 cash prize)!
